2018 is going to be a great year for your holiday on Crete...

This year is the 77th anniversary of the Battle of Crete that started with the German invasion force of paratroopers and gliders around the villages of Tavronitis and Maleme on May 20th 1941. There are always commemorations and events that take place at this time but this year should be something special and we aim to keep you up to date with the latest news regarding the commemorations.

Haridimos Apartments will also be offering accompanied walks to experience the best of this years meteor showers against the stunning backdrop of the Cretan landscape, away from the light pollution of towns and villages. August 12/13th will be especially dramatic with there being no moon to speak of to light up the night sky.

With all this as well as regular Cookery Classes, Quiz Nights, Cretan Nights and the occasional Karaoke Party thrown in for good measure, we are confident that this year will be a fantastic, fun filled year for everyone who visits Haridimos Apartments and Crete.
